LOL I think what he means is how long should he wait for a seedling to start growing before giving up and trying another seed. Dude, either let the seed sit in water overnight before planting it, or put it in a wet papertowel until it cracks open and roots are coming out of it, then plant it and if you dont mess up, it should grow fine :)
