Most beer has a pH of 2-4. Probably lower. If you want to add beer to your pots it will only fuck them up :p.
i heard "booze" stunts plant growth.... might not be a good one to try there man..
This is my plant, which I took as a seedling and grew in a half bottle of beer for a couple of days. Then I fed it a little more beer after it was in soil. I only did it a couple of times and I don't think it really helped or hurt the plant much.

Also, there's this homemade nutrient mix, which contains a small amount of Jack Daniels, among other ingredients.

Well no thanks, I dont want any alcoholic buds :).
I vote it is mostly bullshit
Alcohol itself is likely poisonous to the plants roots. A friend of mine said it may be the glucose in the alcohol that gives the buds a little kick. I think the flavoring natural or artificial may affect the taste too. So if Jack Daniels has an effect imagine what Captain Morgan’s Spiced rum would do. Maybe too mush.
As I see it doing these kinds of things to a healthy plant is a novelty and will be effective only if you TELL the people that smoke it afterwards. “Oooh Ahh give me another it of that whiskey joint.” (People can be as dumb as they are smart) Sure a small benefit may actually be realized but in my mind there are more chances for disaster than success.

I recommend using the same old tried-and-true growing methods, I sincerely doubt many more advances or discoveries will be found to be beneficial in plant growing ... Placing booze in your plant water is completley safe if done properly.
To those of you that say its not a "GOOD IDEA", you have "NO IDEA" what you are talking about.
It must be done in flower mode, weeks 4-5.
Done properly, it completely enhances the aroma, smokability, smoothness and potency of the herb.
Jack, Gin, and vodka are all things I know that some peeps use...with outstanding results.
Of course alcohol is poison to plants. Its poison to people. Thats why the body has a PASS OUT mechanism....to avoid too much intake that is toxic. Alcohol is poison to all life forms.
Thats the point. The plants uptake it, recognize it as an internal stressor and release more THC.
To say its wrong to feed your plant booze is hypocritical. Its no more harm than chopping the plants down. Booze can be a great boost for your final end desired results.
Beer is loved by these plants, although for entirely different reasons that the alcohol...its yeast and carbohyrates is what the beer is good for.
Bottom line.
These particular plants love Jack Daniels!
I don't see any signs of toxicity from booze....nor will I.
Well thanks for that Harddon, your very informational and that was very interesting.
