My drug test was yesterday, need advice on something rare...

Ok, I am a professional woman who loves to get high. I had a great job, and was offered a better job. I started 7/31 then they tell me OOOPS, we forgot to drug test you before hiring you, lol. Luckily I figured this would happen, and already quit about 3 weeks ago.

Knowing I still was not pissing clean, I took a home test, and not trusting all these products out there, I used a friends urine. I was able to pull it off with no problem, but I did not have ENOUGH with me, they required at LEAST 60 ml, and my vial only held 50. So, I had to use some of my own. It was partially observed so I could not get to any water that was not dyed blue.

What the hell is going to happen now? When you mix 50 ml of clean urine and let us say 20 ml to be safe of non-clean urine, what are my chances here? I feel like such a dumb ass, but she told me if I did not get at least 60ml, she would dump it and I would have to do it again.... Does anyone have any experience with this particular scenario?

Hard to tell, and depends on how 'potent' the non-clean urine is. But post back when you find out if you passed or not.

i bet you pass because were talking about over 80 percent of it being clean. Please let us know the results.

These questions have been asked before and nobody has given us their results.

Thanks guys, I should know by next week. I will post after Wed, I am assuming if I have not heard anything by then I can relax a little. They had to send it to a lab, so, since it is not done "on site" I think that is the reason for the delay. I have been sweating this, and have looked all over this message board and see no updates to similar questions asked in the past.

Hopefully I can post some good news soon. And if not, I am praying they will let me restest since I have been working there almost 3 weeks.

Like you I had quit a little over 3 weeks ago, did a home test, got a faint line and was worried so bought some quickfix 4.0 and used about 20 percent of my own urine. I passed my test with no problem and think you will pass yours too. Let us know......

Hello... well, today went by, no word yet. Just a quickie update to let you know. I think if I make it through Friday with no word, maybe I can relax a little about it. I will post later on, take care everyone, blaze one up for me, going on a month now... dying to catch one, lol.

Smokeychik here is a definitive explanation for your situation. If you took a drug test where the cutoff level of THC metabolites was 50 ng/ml (which most are, some are stricter, a few are more lenien t) then here are the calculations for how much THC your urine could have in it. Assuming your friend was 100 % THC free and you used 50 mls from them and 20 mls of your own, then obviously your total urine was 70 mls. 70 times 50 ng/ml equals 3,500 ng of THC total for your sample or under will allow you to pass. Like I said if your friend was 100 % THC free then that means the acceptable THC level of your urine would be 3,500 divided by 20 mls for a level of 175 ng/ml of THC. Now the problem is, do you think your urine had this high of a level or lower? The only way to know for sure is to go get tested by a lab yourself right after the test. But a rough guess can be made that most once a day smokers without abstaining will test around 700 ng/ml. THC half-life can range from .8 days to 10 days. There is a great deal of variablity in the half life from person to person but if you are average then your half-life is 5 days. So for every 5 days your THC levels decrease by 1/2.
So based on your guesstimated urine volume and that of your friend, you could be at 175 ng/ml or lower. Actually 174.999 or lower!

Trust me on this. This is your answer.

Well, still no word! :dance: It has been 10 days since my test, so I am assuming, yes assuming that I passed. I even got a call from the boss today telling me what a great job I m doing. So, maybe just maybe.... I am still nervous, but not nearly as much.

Well, my friend has not smoked in over a year, she had a baby recently and has been breast feeding, and chooses not to smoke while BF, so she was the obvious choice for me! Luckily she is a cool friend like that, I mean how many clean friends would actually let y ou take their piss, lol. She was never a big toker anyway before she was preggers, so, her urine was completely free of THC. Again, thanks to everyone for your input, hopefully this post is done, the only reason I would post again on this thread is if something comes back badly, but 10 days... hopefully if I failed I would know by now.
