Hydroponic - leaf tips curling UP - Pics

Here you go Grow-Fans... This morning's check up found...

Some of the leaf tips are curling upwards. They look dried at the tips and feel dry to the touch.

In addition, there are some discolorations on some of the leaves, not yellow or brown, just lighter/dryer shade of green. Almost as if the top layer of "skin" was peeled away...(bugs?)

Other than that the plants look great. The roots look & smell healthy also.

Yesterday morning I unhooked the planter (5 gal bucket with aeroponic sprinkler inside). I had to make adjustments to the resevoir which took a few hours. Although I sprayed down the roots manually twice (once every 1.5-2 hours) with Ph'd water with just a drop of base nutes. I wonder if this caused some dehydration? Also, 2 soil plants around same age not showing signs of this...

These symptoms didn't take place until 12-16 hours after my maintenance (in the middle of the night).

Other variables:
Plants are 2-2.5 weeks old, drinking 1/3 - 1/2 strength nutes. PH is right on.
5 CFL's - 144 watts worth - 4+ inches away from plants
Fan inside - temps around 75-80 degrees. Water temp around 70-75.

Ideas? Advice? :)

Nobody has experience with this one eh?

Mag nesium def,, eithier your water is too hard or you have a nut look up.
Add 1 table spoon of epsom salts to 1 gallon of water for a couple of days.
Also spray them every day with 1 tea spoon to 1000mls of water every day for a week.
this will fix.

nice set-up i would raise the water temp 5 or 10

Fade- did you make that setup yourself? I was thinking of making a setup also. Do you have pics of the system and directions on how to make it? Or do you know a site or something.
