I had a hamster die on me once when I was younger. We were rolling him around in his little ball them my bro put him in the dryer. Fucking douchebag. :(
Also had a few dogs get put to sleep. It's for the best though, if they're suffering.
yeah she was suffering, she could only breath out of on elung because of the cancer was in her lungs and liver
I had a big golden retriever that i grew up with. My parents got it 2 yrs before i was born. when i was like 11, he died, going on his 13 years old. He died in the car while we were bringing him to the vet to put him asleep. Its by far the worst thing that happened in my whole life, a dog so kind like he was, it was like my best friend...I miss him sooo much :( and how we handled it...lets just say that it was just like if my brother died...
here are pics of him...he has alot of white hair in the face because of the age.. R.I.P. :o
In the last 18 years, we've had four dogs die, and two cats. Three of the dogs died of old age, one from liver cancer. One of the cats died from brain damage (she was abused by some kids at a schoolyard) about two years after we rescued her. The other cat that died, some dude was walking his pit bull through the neighborhood, and sic'd his dog on our sweet, gentle, trusting cat. (If I ever find out who that guy was, I have a baseball bat for him, but he's not been seen in our neighborhood since then.)
Sorry to say, there's no 'easy way' to get over it, if you were close to a pet that died. Mourning is a process, and you just have to go through it.
I am happy that you and your pet had one another. I love animals, and i thank you for loving them as well.:thumbsup:Quote:

:sadcrying Yeah unfortunatly I lost a dog too, his name was Jayboy,he was asheep dog on our farm and for some reason he went wild.He went on a killing spree one nite and killed 3 sheep on someone elses property he was shot! by another farmer caught in the act. There was nothing I could do about it, its just the way it is in the country if a dog gets caught killing sheep.
i grew up with a big ass black manecoon cat(looks like a miniature lynx)
he died when i was 13 and he was about 12. like that one guy said like a brother to me
Yeah. We had a dog named sparky. My parents got him a few years before i was born. He was one of the best dogs i have ever known. He would play with me when i was a baby and never hurt me or nothin. He was kind and friendly and playful and just about everything you would want in a dog. He was like a brother to me since im an only child. He was a shephard mix. My mom was actually going to get a cat but she got to the animal shelter and found that they were going to kill this little puppy within the hour if no one bought him. My mom felt sorry for him and fell in love with him and bought him there. He went on to live a happy healthy life till he was 16 years old. Then he passed away when i was about 12 years old. It was really sad and my whole family cried. Actually when i think about it thats the only time ive ever seen my dad cry. It was horrible. But these things happen and death is a part of life really. I feel for ya man and send my best wishes.
one of my friends used to have like 10 different birds, and his brother had one in his room one night, and it was on his bed when he was sleeping and he rolled over onto it and killed it >.<
