Good strain for SCROG?

I am going to be doing a SCROG soon.

What high quality strain is well-suited for a SCROG grow?

I also need to grow a relatively mild-smelling strain (E.G., Northern Lights and Chrystal from Nirvana were the most I could handle in the smell-intensity department).

Any suggestions?

Hindo Kush, top-44, Cali-Orange, skunk, and even NL#5 works just to name a few.

As a rule, which is the way to go when choosing a strain for SCROG: indica or sativa?
