hey all sorry to say i had to kill my plant because detectives came to my house lookin for my brother n they will be back with a search warrent they said so i hod to get rid of everything

Search warrants must be specific. If marijuana was not specified in the warrant...all they can do is take note that a grow is in operation and will have to go obtain a new warrant in order to legally search for and sieze a grow.

It would also have to be specific to indoors or outdoors of the property, or both. If you know they're about to search the inside ofyour home, unless the warrant specifies 'backyard'...you could put your plants outside and again...they'd have to get a new warrant in order to legally confiscate the grow, and arrest the suspected grower. Hellz...you could even put the whole entire grow in a car, covered with a blanket or car cover...if the car isnt listed in the warrant...they've no legal business going near it. Oh, they saw inside the car and confiscated anyway...too bad charges in court won't stick for shit when cops don't mind the 4th ammendment.

ie...they show up with a warrant specifying MJ...while at your home they SEE plants growing at the neighbors...before they'd be able to touch any of it, they'd have to go obtain a new warrant specific to that location.

Want to really irk them...if you yourself are not listed in the warrant, you can shove all your MJ in your pockets and they've no legal means to search your person unless you've do something to open that particular door. Key word 'search'...if the weed is just laying around, a warrant can cover non-specified 'other' items...but only if its just laying out. If a search is needed to find the 'other'...it won't hold water in court that the cop just happened to open the oven and find 15 youngling plants waiting on the cops to leave.

For anyone that this sort of thing happens to...if you've any sort of heads up that cops are on your case...beat them to the punch, stay a step ahead...move your grow...hide it off the listed property.

Stall them...tell them they can not enter until you've read the warrant, not just had it served...but read it. They want to conduct a search of your premises...fine, get out of their way and let them...but make it clear prior to allowing a search that you do not consent to the search...get a witness, or better, have the cop sign a cheapy affidavit that you write up and have them sign their name alongside your's. That is, make a moderate fuss (that doesn't put you on the working end of a tazer), stand your ground, and make it clear that you're not ignorant of your rights.

An uneducated civilian is a cop's best friend. When your words and body language indicate a threat to their carrer...they'll think twice about blurring any lines that will become a part of their record.

Cops are people too. They can be pressured, prompted, and rebutted just like anyone else. Do not let their title or uniform intimidate you. But, by no means create and or facilitate for things to get ugly.

Think of cops as salemen. They'll work any angle to get you to buy until they're aware that you're aware of the angle.

Know more about the product you're looking to buy than the salesman does and you render them...useless.
