i had a pre-employment salvia test on 8/4/06! I have not smoked nor been exposed to 2nd had smoke since 7/2/06. I'm scared to death as to whether or not I was cleaned. I performed and FDA approved Urine Test on 8/3/06 and was Negitive. Also, prior to 7/2/06, I smoked maybe 5-6 blunts per week... Does anyone have similar experience? Please advise.....

you'll be fine, the detection period is only 12-24 hours on saliva tests, it suprises me that you're getting a saliva test, especially if they gave you warning

well if its salvia as in the stuff u smoke and see things that make u wet ur pants then dont worry they dont test for it as far as i no and they mite not have a test for it...

^lol there are no tests currently for salvia.
As said, saliva tests don't have a long detection period (24-48 hours). Also the metabolytes from the weed usually are undetectable (even in heavy smokers) after a period of 10-30 days in urine tests. Hair tests take a period of 6-9 months to become undetectable. Sounds like you should be fine though.
salvia is legal... sure, you might fail your salvia test, but then again, you might fail your caffeine test too. When's the last time you had a pepsi? only time can tell
