In Regards to the : "police on cannabis" Thread

I think one is trying to bust me. No joke.

Okay. So the other night, I get a completely random Instant Message from this guy, and it goes something like this. I'm in bold.


"Hey. I saw you posting on that forum."
"What's up, man? Oh yeah? Cool. What forum?"
"Cannabis. I'm not a member, but I've just been searching around for other stoned kids to talk to."
"Um. Okay."
"How's the bud out there on the East Coast?" (I guess he knows what state I'm in at least)
"Uh. It's fine."
"Hey. Next time you get some nug, take a close up picture for me! And send it to me!"
"Uh. Okay. I gotta go. Peace."
"Okay! Bye now!


I'm not sure what else happens after that far. Maybe it's just the typical stoner paranoia.

Haha, that's a bit odd. It's the internet, though. What can happen?

Just don't take any close-up pictures for awhile..

I think it's just some stupid person from here trying to get some laughs.

If somebody IM's you and you don't know who they are and they haven't ID'd themselves up front, put a block on them. You don't know if it's some kind of freak "trying to get to know you" or what.

If I were to IM you, I'd ID myself and post something here so you'd know it was me.
I wouldn't expect you to answer me unless I told you who I was.

I find it strange that a non member would IM you like that.

(did that make sense? I just took my sleep meds. lol)

Just wanted to add this, it never happens elsewhere, just here.

A lot of nights when I'm here posting late, I'll get random IM's from who knows who. I just block those suckers.

The ones that show up are odd and mish moshed letters strewn together.
Nothing I would recognize from this site. I'd feel bad if I blew off someone from here.:(

Haha, yeah most of the random IM's I get now are from people here, so I automatically assume that. And I'm right most of the time. Not a bad apple so far, either.

Hmm, so do you have AIM, or MSN? Something? I am bored, lol, and it is late at night..
