Weed brownies and Smoking

I am planning on making some weed brownies soon, and I was wondering; for those of you who have experience with this, would you recommend smoking also?

I was thinking about either buying a half oz. and using 10-11 grams to cook, and smoking the other 3-4 grams. Should I just use it all to cook with?

In your opinion, should the brownies be taken alone (without smoking) because the high is so different?

If you do recommend smoking, should I smoke before I eat the brownies (like while I'm cooking them), right after eating them (and waiting for them to kick in), or during the high of the brownies?

It all depends on you .... saving some for smoking and using the rest to cook with is a good idea. What I would do is probably have a small joint while i'm cooking it and enjoy the brownies too.
Again its all up to you... you can probably use the brownies more than once 10-11 grams is more than enough for one... i'd say that be good for 4 or 5 people....

Wow. 10-11 grams seems just like a waste to me.

Just make firecrackers and you need less than a gram per person.

Don't smoke on it, if anything maybe smoke a little before you eat them because you want to be able to experience it better.

I would say don't smoke anything beforehand for two reasons:

1. If you smoke while cooking, you might accidentally lose concentration or something and burn the cannabutter, which sucks because burn up the weed to no effect.

2. There's nothing like the first time eating, you'll be watching TV or talking to your mates and all of the sudden realize, "oh dear christ on a cross I am ripped off of my TITS!" It's a really fun and unique experience, so don't smoke the first time.

Afterwards is ok, because it can get old waiting for them to kick in (sometimes up to an hour and a half)

my friends used to call it a b and b, bowl and brownies. about 30 minutes after you eat them, smoke a small bowl, that should get things started

yeah i definitely recommend smoking 30 min - 1hr after eating them, and then your high from smoking kind of continues into a long nice brownie high. i dont think i've ever really only eaten brownie's w/o smoking. well, actually except tonight, i did just smoke, but i ate 3 brownies i had from a while ago and didn't smoke for like 3 hours after, i was playing video games w/ some friends but i wasn't sure if i was feeling the brownies or not, cause i had already smoked a lot today, so i still felt kind of stoned from earlier and i also couldn't tell if i was stoned or if mario party is really just that ridiculous hehe, but yeah, what is it like to just eat them w/o smoking, people say its more of a body high and i guess i kind of feel taht, but i feel like its a more subtle high, is that right, maybe not, its hard to distinguish from the smoking.

Get a half O, and use 3 1/8's.

But dont smoke and eat it, you'll be so fucked it'll e uncontrollable.

Whatever you do, don't filter out the plant material. From my experience with making brownies i've noticed that a lot of the THC is actually still in the vegetation even though the recipe recommends that you filter it out and keep the butter. I don't think the THC has any reason to leave the plant just becuase you boiled it in butter for a while. Me and my friends did this and instead of just discarding the plant material we ate it on some ritz crackers (they're called Leary Biscuits I guess)

This shit creeps up on you. You're just sitting there watching Fear and Loathing in las vegas then BOOM, like someone tied 2 tons of bricks to your limbs. It's weird because it's like your body is stoned but you're just high. And then when the brownies where eaten the next day, they didn't work at all. One of my friends ate 8 of them feeling absolutely no effects.

I should note that my friend ate so many because we brought the brownies to a party and the cops showed up, everyone else ran but we didn't because we hadn't done anything illegal yet. While the cops where questioning us he ate all those brownies.

Last week, I had a chance to make some weed oatmeal raisan cookies and ate them under a variety of circumstances. I don't know exactely how much herb I used but it was equal parts Edelweis and Silver Haze. I grinded everything in my mini-chef and used the plastic scraper to get the finer vegetation. I did squeeze the herbals through a strainer to seperate from the butter and discarded the vegetation. Next time I'll try those crackers. Anywho...

1. The night I made them, I had smoked all day. I ate two smaller cookies after they cooled. Within about 30-45 minutes, my body felt really stoned and I still had my original high from what I smoked. The feelings lasted till I went to bed about 4 hours later.

2. The next day, I had a large cookie early in the morning before smoking. About 45 minutes later, my body felt 'heavy' but I didn't feel high. I then smoked and had the head high going on. About 5 hours later, I had another large cookie. I could feel my body getting heavier but I also noticed that little things were drawing my attention...I'd stare at leaves at admire the color and reflections of the sun, plane shapes seemed really defined, little movements seem amplified. This also continued until I went to sleep.

3. The next day, I had two large cookies early in the morning and the effects came on within 25 minutes. I smoked later and all day I had an intense body stone. This day, I noticed that I didn't smoke as much as previous days. Normally I may hit 6 bowls on the weekend, but this day I had 3. All day was just very relaxed.

Conclusion...brownies and stuff will work without smoking but I think you'd appreciate it more after you smoke.
