I use 4" airstones (in buckets), and sometimes they hardly even work anymore after one grow. What is the best way to clean them, or keep them going during flowering?

I just use the cheapos from wally world and replace them in between grows.
Doesn't anybody CLEAN their air stones?
One of the best ways to clean air stones is in boiling water. Make sure that the air stone is connected to the air pump, add it to a bucket of hot water and leave it for about 10 min or so. Then hay presto they should be clean.
Its amazing what you learn from tropical fish books...........

This is a Joke right, 97 cents
Look in you folks sofa, under the carpets in there car.
one soda,
one bottle water
What ever you do ,,,,do not hold up a bank, to buy some.
Do not bust your piggy bank , they cost more than 97 cents, 99 cents. That would be a 2 cents loss plus tax.
Does your parents know you grow?
I wouldnt advise using ne type of cleaner on air stones due to cross contamination. Thats why the best way to clean them is in hvery hot or boiling water with the air pump on and it save you paying out everytime they get dirty. They can last a good couple of years cleaned this way.Quote:

With 3 people. One noob to hold the bulb and ask tons of questions about how to screw it in. One guy who thinks he knows everything, telling the noob how stupid he is but unwilling to tell him how to do it. And one older wiser guy who just sits there and laughs at them while he grows a bunch of good pot.Quote:
