I don't want to work today!

Noooooooooooooooooo!!! Besides the fact that I'm sick, I've had like 3 days off in a row. So now I'm spoiled. Happy Wednesday to everyone! :o

im supposed to be off today, but i asked if i could come in so they said show up at 9am. i woke up at quarter to ten....

Heh, reminds me of when I sneakily took SIX WEEKS off in the Army, and got paid for it. I was in the post honor guard, doing funerals and such for dead vets. Well, I was getting close to time for me to go on leave then relocate to Turkey, so the honor guard let me off. I cunningly didn't tell my company commander though, and it took him two weeks to figure out I was just hanging out and goofing off. But that got me within a month of my departure date, so THEN he had to let me have that month to do all my outprocessing BS. That rocked, six weeks of paid vacation! And then I took leave for a month, before heading to Turkey, so TEN WEEKS total really.

Another time, I took three weeks of leave for Christmas, but totally forgot to sign out, so I was technically AWOL and could've gotten seriously punished. When the three weeks were over, I came back and signed IN off leave (even though I'd never signed out), and the guy said, huh, we don't have any record of you ever going on leave. So, they just pretended I didn't take that three week vacation (which meant I got to use that three weeks of leave time AGAIN, later).

I was a pro at being a lazy soldier!

I am dying in an office with no air conditioning and the heat index is supposed to be 111 degrees today! HELP!!!!!!!!!

101 in boston today...... uhh i'm so glad i'm not working today. i nearly killed myself last night.

Work sucks and I hate it. Not because I'm lazy, because 2 out of those 10 days you work it goes to taxes and bullshit.

But yeah, I'll be sparking all day too! :cool:
