Honey oil, HPS, and so on need some help

Ok so lets begin with the lamp 400 w HPS served me well but it stoped working the ballast still humms when turned on so i tipped on the light being wasted while trying to find out i took the light bulb socket apart now iam not quite sure how the two wires are suppoosed to lie in it its one of those cheramic light bulb sockets with a mettal plate inside and the wires coming in throug holes on the other side. If anyone has a diagram or pic it would be apretiated.
Second question
i want to make a honey oil maker with the butane . I have all the tools and materials i would just need to know how do u put it together the valves and all so it holds and doesnt leek gas everywhere. Any one that knows please reply ASAP
