random superhighness when smoking outdoors

Ive been a heavy smoker for long enough that I usually know exactly how high I will get before I smoke. The majority of the time that I smoke, the only significant factor in how high I get (other than the actual amount of herb burned) is what kind of tolerance I have at that moment. However, Ive had a few situations over the years where when Ive smoked, I ended up getting ALOT higher than I expected. Each of these times I smoked outside but simply smoking outside is obviously not enough to trigger this effect. I think that it has something to do with smoking in very hot dry air but I really cant tell because it only happens about once every 2 months. Has anyone else noticed this kind of random superhighness? I'd like to figure out more about it.

I'm not really sure..I mean I know what your talking about but usually, almost every time I smoke I'm superhigh. lol

not to steal the thread, but i realize i get higher off less when i dont anticipate on getting so high nd when i get pumped up about getting high i have to smoke a lot more to get the same effect

totally man... sometimes ill only have a pinch left so I dont even expect anything at all then I get blind-sided

I know whenever I sit down and smoke, I feel like I am so much higher. After a few hits I just close my eyes and feel my head float around. If I am standing up smoking a blunt or something, its hard to feel the high.

Smoking on an empty stomach helps too. Try smoking on a completely empty stomach, you'll be ripped!

For you, it could have just been that you were more relaxed in such a desireable enviornment for you, which allowed you to get higher.

there are lots of factors to getting high, and the intensity of it..

Every time that i remember getting stoned there was some unusual thing happening, try changing up your sorroundings a bit and your experience will be better. And the hot dry air thing? I dont know about all that man, i've been stoned on clear nights, hot dry days, and rainy night-days or whatever iteration you can come up with, hell i've been stoned while getting stoned (hail) but really the weather hasn't made a difference, just be comfortable and enjoy where you are.

It could be from sitting in sunlight, some people are happier/sadder depending on the weather. I'm like that, I get much higher on sunny days.
