I got surrealistic pillow on vinyl
Today i was at this thrift shop and i noticed a very old vinyl copy of Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane. The vinyl itself is in good condition, and it's pressed by RCA, a yellow label in the center.
I don't even have a record player for this thing so i'm gonna sell it on ebay. What would it go for ?

haha i listened to jefferson airplane after having eaten hippy mushrooms. they were magical mushrooms, if you know what i mean; and by that, i mean they were shitake mushrooms :-). but the *placebo* effect (and only placebo effect) was trippy anyways.
that was a true hippy experience. mmm shitake.

you probably wont get much unless its the first press or whatever......is there something really special about that song or something though, I dont really listen to Jefferson Airplane

You won't get much for it man. They were never a huge band that kept going for years. They had 2 hits I think and that was all, and they were barely hits.
I have the Jefferson Airplane record that turns into a pot stash box. I don't even know the name of the album, but when I was last looking through them, I can across it. I inherited hundreds of records when my grandad died, so I got all the hippy records. :p

i'm gonna try to sell it on ebay.
i'm not going to ask too much for it...
it does look like quite an old press, though. it's got a picture of an old phonograph on it and a dog listening to it, and it reads "RCA VICTOR" "His master's voice". Could that have any significance relevant to the date it was pressed? It's an RCA logo... black on pink print.

oh and surrealistic pillow is the name of the record, not any single song. It's got "White Rabbit", "Somebody to Love", as well as "Today". I wish I had a record player :(
