Noobie on the block check ma setup
Hey i'm new to growing & planted 24 seeds at the start of april 12 ice & 12 northern lights. After seperating the males from the females ive got 6 left.
What do you think of them there was a gap of about 2 weeks between the planting of some of the plants.
I kept the males going under a seperate powerful light 2 experiment with but they were frazzled by it has any1 got any tips so i can grow more cuttings under that light with out frying my plants.
Any tips etc. would be a great help Cheers.

what kind of light are you using?
what kind of soil?
Noobie on the block check ma setup
the mediums cannacoco
they are under a 600w powerplant light with winged reflector
males under a 1000w powerplant with slightly bigger winged reflector

also is it true that if i dont put a fan on them they are liable to snap under their own weight? i found they fell over alot as seedlings

If your using that powerful of a light my only guess is that it's some kind of Lowryder strain? Meh. That's crazy lol.

yeah those plants looking kinda lanky....yeah u want to use a fan to build strength...you can also tie the branches to give more support.....

yea man, i asked you what light you were using because your plants look lanky and i dont think i've ever seen a plant with ONLY a top cola (nevermind a big cola like that).
You plants dont even have secondaries showing yet, AND only have like 4 nodes.
i'm actually amazed at what i see... must be genetic.
The one all the way on the far back right only has two fan leaves and then a big main cola. i cant believe your plants can hold theyre own weight.
They wont hold that weight for long... especally since those main colas are gonna get heavier and heavier. You need to get a little desk fan and have it blowing on your plants. Make sure its on the LOWEST setting.
Goodluck :stoned:

That looks like some HUUUUGE stretching.
You need to take your lights down so that they are close to your plants. Well, you should have taken the lights downward a long time ago. Maybe there's still some salvaging that can be done.

Hey Apostle,
I think 600w is too much for cuttings cuz they got no roots yet and they can't transpire. Try using Compact Fluorescents (CFLs) or even tube fluoros. For one thing, the light is like mellower and the plants don't have to work so hard. Plus fluoros are way cooler so you can keep them down close to the plants. I'm using strictly tube fluoros atm and I try to keep them 1 to 2 inches from the tops.[attachment=o76981][attachment=o76982]You just have to keep raising the lights, but the plants don't have to stretch up to the light. Just my opinion
