I germinated some seeds in a propagator and they seemed to stretch. Now during vegetation, they are about 6" tall, 3-4" just stems. The top part looks normal. Should I continue, or what? Any suggestions welcome

Well it depends on what kind of lighting you are using. If your are using floursent (sorry for the miss spell) and they are stretching, chances are the light source isn't close enough to the good ole mj. Get the flouresant light close as possible (at max 5 in away). If you are using some other lighting source, sorrry man can't help you there.
oh another thing, add more soil. The stem that is going to be under soil will eventually turn into root. This will also help your streched stem problem
yes its worth it. get MORE LIGHT.
go buy some CFLs... itll be the best thing youve ever done.
