any florida growers?

I've finally decided to try outdoor growing here in florida. I have expiereince with indoor growing but not outdoor. In the middle of june I put some sprouts outside and decided to see what will happen. Four of the seven i put out there are still alive despite the down pours of rain we get everyday. My question is, do outdoor plants generally take along time to get about a foot or so. Mine are finally getting there. Well any comments are appreaciated.

hey man i live in southwest florida nad it only took 5 days for them to sprout to about 2 inches,florida sun is the best here is,and during rain get it under SOME protection but let some natural rain get in it,it really helps.but how long is it taking you to get to a foot

Hey what part of florida u from, i use to grow outside and it did take awhile for mine to get about a foot high.
