I really need help and cant seem to get an answer. I repotted my plants a week ago in some organic soil, with dolomite, perilite, blood and bone meal. How long will the nutrients last?? when do I need to re-fertilize, and if so with what? The same ingredients? just sprinkle on or make a tea? Sorry I just dont know what to do. Plants are about 6 weeks old.:confused:

Dolomite and perlite -obviously- aren't nutrient sources. Blood and bone meal are. But they take a while to break down, and neither is a balanced stand-alone fertilizer.Quote:

For fert schedules, what to use, etc. you have too many options for me to get into, just read the boards for a while and you'll get a sense for what your plants need.
At least a couple of weeks the soil it self has nutes in it even if the other stuff is not available yet.
