why do we need electronic voting machines? yeah, it's the 21st century and everything's computerized, but why, really?

what's wrong with the old fashioned way. you can still fix elections, but it's much harder and much less centralized, which is always good.

When the next staged terrorist attack happens, Bush will definately declare martial law in Amerika. Hence, he is dictator for the rest of his life in the vein of the Roman Emporers and Hitler.

These stories about Muslims trying to blow up the Sears Tower, and the Holland Tunnel which I was in actually 2 weeks ago are propagated stories by the government trying to get the people to believe that the Patriot Act is protecting us from "terrorists". Oh the Patriot Act is doing its job alright...taking away our freedom in the name of security!

For the next corporate...I mean terrorist attack, I am thinking his agents will use some kind of a suitcase dirty bomb in a major or semi-major metropolitan area.

People, we won't have much time left to speak on these forums freely anymore. After the next attack, speech like this will be considered illegal and terrorist activity.

With electronic voting, there are no paper counts to back it up. I would refuse to use any electronic voting system in 2008. Elections are too damn important to have electronic voting.

it was like 80/ 20 they wont be able to fix 31%???????????

Actually I think their going to get rid of exit polls. They are certainly bold enough to try it.
