Vent in and out question
I just built a new flower room. I didn't put in any intake or exhaust vents,,, because I have a 5000 btu air conditioner installed. Will this replace enough air, or should I still install vents?. I don't want the vents to undermine the work of the A/C. Think this might be a prob?? Thnx
P.S. Look!!!!!! My caps lock button is fixed!!!!
Hurray!!!!

Vent in and out question
Yes, do install intake and exhaust vents, a/c units typically don't draw outside air (they just recycle it); your plants need fresh air, whether it comes from the out-of-doors, or outside the box; they need plenty of it! How big is your space? that's the only determining factor in my mind.

Vent in and out question
Thnx. The A/C draws air from the outside. No recycle air is available on the small unit. Space is 3'x6'x7'. I had to install a flat carbon filter on the unit, because it exhausted alot of smell. I have an old 4" duct fan, used in the old room, but didnt want to cut any more holes than I had to.

Ok, just keep an eye on your humidity in there. For some reason I was imagining a smaller space, you should be ok.
