lots of brown spots on leaves??
Hiya Folks and greetings from the hot and sunny Netherlands,
Last week in growth of my five outdoor plants and one of them is showing some odd brown discolouring on its leaves. More and more leaves are affected every day and I'm a bit worried what might cause this.
Hopefully some of you can shed some light on this problem!
Many thanks,
Happy C

Perhaps a Magnesium deficiency?
How often do you apply nutrients? pH of the soil?
Any additional info could help. Otherwise the plant looks healthy from the picture.
hot and sunny Netherlands? does that exist ;)

Magnesium deficiency shows itself from the edges first.
My best guess is that you need more Potassium in your plants' diet. It prevents fungal and bacterial attacks, which is what that kind of looks like.
Silicon and Calcium are also a good supplement.

Thanks, I'll give the added nutes a try. Still, it's only one out of the five that shows these symptoms and I do nute regularly. Anyhoo, I've isolated this one from the rest of the batch and will give it the extra treatment!!
And sunny weather does exist over here, actually temperatures this year are frequently soaring op to 33 celsius and rarely dropping below 25...it's going to be a good cannabis year

Sounds like your weather is ideal (I used to live on the North Sea, I know how it can be sometimes)

Well it appeared to be a calcium deficiency, I got some special calcium additives and added a teeny weeny itsybitsy bit of it to the nutes. The problem seems to be contained: no more new leaves are affected by the brown spots and the plant is growing healthily again.
(Still in the middle of a heatwave here, 33 degrees centigrade outside! Unbelievable compared to the moist and humid summer we had last year!)
