forgive my extremely stoned rambling

Picture this. You've just arrived home from work. You greet your sibling/parter/wife/husband/roommate and go about your business as normal. After a while you put on the news, and as usual, they're talking about some suicide bomber in this country or some hostage taking in that country. You're shocked for a few moments - maybe you're truely touched by the reports, or because you feel you should be - but then the novelty wears thin, and you get back to your every-day life. This sequence of events happens every day, just in different sequences, different combinations, but eventually you get numbed to it, almost predisposed. You and everyone around you, lives like this. Bad news becomes a daily event, just another depressing part to an already depressing day.

But, what if, you found out that none of it was real? I'm not talking Matrix-Style, but what if you all the stories you've ever seen, on the news, newspapers, the internet, were all fabricated? They were just made up, and knocked up in a hollywood basement. All the disasters, all the murders and killing, all of the fighting and dieing, what if all of it was fake? Now i odnt mean to insult anyone, or to shed any doubt on the suffering people have encountered, this is just a theory.

So, how would you react if this happened? What would you do, say, feel, if you came upon the knowledge that every single world event that youd seen unravel before your eyes on BBC and Sky News, were only made up events, with actors and a director, cameras, a film crew, made up to sway how you act, how all of us act. Think about it, everything we see affects the people we become. what we see one day will affect our behaviour the next. so what if all these made up events were only made up to make us act how "they" wanted us to act, so we conform and act like robots to achieve "their" goal, whatever it may be? its some crazy shit if you think about it.. thats why i dont like to.. peace

totally hypothetical, right? because.. i mean i honestly dont believe that theory.. i believe that these things arent fabricated, but if they were that would be some freaky shit. i would feel brainwashed, and even though we are already partly warped by the government and the media - i would feel betrayed at the level of lies increased. what is that movie that has jim carrey being watched on tv? the truman show?

I'd then wish to myself that I might have realised the scam a week earlier, so that I could have gotten myself into shit loads more debt, and have all the things I wanted and not be legally obliged to pay for it.
