filtered then boiled?
can a person get out of buying bottled water? What if you filtered it through one of those britta pitchers with the charcoal filters...(it makes the water taste better so I think it takes some of the chlorine out, but im not a chemist)... and then boil it and let it cool in the open air

You can let it set for 24 hours with the top off,and the chlorine will evaporate. I don't see why bottled water would have chlorine in it,though. It's only from a municiple water system, like the city water that does that with all the chemicals.Look on the label and see if it was bottled by a municipal water sytem. It has to say by law!

Yeah, if its bottled water, and it has actually come from a spring, is basically the best water you can use. But still, just put it in a container, let is sit and then you cant go wrong. I know of alot of people who use very bad quality water from taps and it dont affect the plants though, but i'd never force my babies to get used to chlorine.

filtered then boiled?
yeah carbon filters will get rid of chlorine..you still have to worry about ph boiling the water doesn't completely purify the water..it just kills bacteria...Go with an Reverse Osmosis system would be my recommendation...

you can also fill jugs up with cold water only, ppm should be around 100 or below when filled and just set it to the side . use when ready.
shallow i like that one there.

spring water isn't always the best water u can use, depending on the source the water can be full of calcium. rain water is a better option for u plants as it is always more acidic and when a plant is growing wild the plant will get most of it water from rain . anyway i use nothing but tap water and i aways have good results , to feed upwards on 30 plants mineral water would cost me a fortune. water is water at the end of the day its h2o no matter what way u look at it . leave ur tap water sit for 24 hours and the chlorine will be gone out of it .
