First off nothing is better than headies except the buds of a strain that is more potent than the one the headie came from :p. And hydro is just another slang word for good weed, such as dank.

what are headies?

there are three types of weed classifications with many different slang terms meaning the same thing. your three basic groups are schwag, mids, and heads. schwag is kind of like weed that somone smuggled over to you in their ass hole and forgot to put it in a bag first and is also refered to as shit and contain large stems, very stringy bud, and many seeds so very low potency. Mids are the second group and contain a few seeds usually pritty thick and big stems and has thicker fuller bud growth. It is also refered to as middies and probably other names and is commonly sold in dubs and dimes etc. What most people want are Headdies, heads, dank, hydro, Dan K, nugs, and many other names. It is a high quality bud that has thick dense full buds on smaller stems and contains at most a seed. People seem to think that hydro is a strain of bud or somthing like that because they use hydro as the name of the bud they have but it is actually how it is grown. Hydro is a form of growing where the plant does not use a dirt medium to get mineralls through the roots but instead the water and nutrients are feed to the plant through the water that is circulated around the root cluster.

Many people think of "Hydro" or "Dro" as a strain. What Hydro actually is, is a methos of growing any plant, without using soil.

Hydro grown cannabis and soil grown are no different from each other. The only thing that makes "dro" better, is the short time period it takes to grow. It doesn't take near as long as soil, and doesn't require as much care. Hydro is often grown using chemicals, and there I'll take an organic grown bud over hydro anyday.

People like to use the word hydro, because it sounds "cool." Kids have been using that word since my day with the shittiest weed possible.
