Pipe smoke same as Joint ?

Hi... i know u get harsh hot smoke when u use a pipe... why? and is it the same as in a joint.

It is pretty muchthe same smoke, depending on the papers in your joint. A pipe that bubbles the smoke through water such as a bong or bubbler, is less harsh and also filters out some tar and impurities in the water. :)

Ever smoke a cig with no filter? Same sort of thing, sort of :)
Usually when you smoke anything without some filtering device you will get that hot, harshness because everything is going straight into your lungs (tar, resin, etc). Use a bong - the water acts kinda like a filter and it cools the smoke (put ice cubes in it).
If you continue to use a pipe, clean it regularly!

No, you put ice cubes in a bong to chill the smoke. A standard pipe without a filter like a spoon or chillum, or one-hitter will give you harsher smoke. Get a pipe that filters the smoke through water. :)

He meant putting ice in a water-pipe/bong, not a regular pipe :)

If you don't mix your weed with tobacco in joints, pipes are similar to that. Just a different way to hold it :D

get a bubbler i love them

and the water makes it taste better.even though i prefer a small pipe.stronger smoke through a small pipe(less resin deposits,more in ur lungs).i found i get high quicker off a pipe,then anything.but the high is more stronger form a bong,joint,and blunt.

I find I get highest from using a vaporizer, but the high is much cleaner, clearer, and heady. It extracts all the THC and it makes my weed last so much longer. But on the downside it takes longer to setup and the high doesn't hit you as quickly as a smoke hit. It creeps up. :)

I get high quicker off of a pipe too. I prefer to smoke joints though. The smoke can be harsh, not as harsh as a pipe. I've smoked joints that weren't that harsh. I think that it depends on the kind of weed you have too.
