what good seeds look like????

i know its probaly based on the dope its self but to stoned to remember other than labling is there a way to look at a seed and tell if its going to be a good grow or bad?????:thumbsup:

You can tell whether the seed is ripe or unripe, or damaged.
Ripe seeds should be plump, hard, brown, spotted, kind of shiny.
Unripe seeds will be small, sometimes shrively, green or pale tan, dull, you get the drift.

I usually give mine a good pinch to test them. If you pop and/or break, they are no good.

Is it bad if there ripe or unripe? cause I got some small green seeds so I guess there unripe i was unna plant... is this bad? by the was it's bag seed:)

unripe is bad. If the seeds are small and green, probably not good, just try and give the seeds a good light pinch and if the crack, they are no good. I too am growing bag seed to get used to growing indoors. Heres what My plants look like in this link. 2nd grow indoors, my first 2 plants were males.

Dark brown / Light brown and some has black stripes on them that shines sorta like copper paper when in the light. Those are probably the best quality you'll get.

You can only tell if a seed looks viable or not (as mentioned above). You cannot determine potency just by looking at the seed. Sometimes if you breed and are familar with your planst and seeds you can associate various characteristics so that you may categorize the seed, but if you got 100 seeds all mixed up that you were unfamilar with you could not, with scientific accuracy, pick out the most potent seeds.

so the only way of telling if a seed is ready is by looking and pinching??I got some lowryders and the seeds look good - pinch good but they are 1 week off the mother, and i am having trouble germinating them. Do i have to leave the seeds for a time before germination???
