Did I do the right thing?
Ok, i have four plants grown off of two floro tubes. I will be getting my 400 watt HPS light next weekend from a friend. My issues started about four days ago when I watered my seedlings for the first time. I had originally had them in miracle grow soil, and waited about two weeks for their first watering (they never showed signs of needing it, but i was like "ok its been two weeks they have to need watering"). When I watered them, they took a HUGE turn for the worst and at this point im not sure if they will survive. I think the soil way way too hot because not only did they droop drastically when i watered them but they took on yellow tips and started with a "shrivel" appearance. I had a hunch that the problem was the soil, so I transplanted into a very basic soil with 20% perlite. The plants havent started to come around yet but they dont look any worse for wear. Sorry no pics. Anyone think they will survive? The largest one is starting only fourth sets of leaves. I dont want to give up and just let them die yet.

give them a few days, just be patient and dont wait so long on watering them next time. I water my plants every 2-3 days and i give them about 8 oz of nuted water. just hang in there they should be okay. Do U have any Superthrive? they might need a boost to help them out.

Damn dunno. Im useing a 15 watt floresant light over 5 plants in pots with miracle grow potting soil. They gre 3-4 inches in just 3 days. only useing it to sprout them up 8 inches thoe.

Man Im so scared to use any kind of nutrient/fert solutions/mixes. Seriously it looks like they got burned so badly so fast(maybe when the water dissolved powerful shit in the soil? Miracle Grow) that alot of the leaves on some are really drooped and all a pasty green/yellowish color. Sorry I dont have a digital cam. Anyways, with a new soil with lots of perlite in it do you think it will harm the seedlings(remember i just transplanted them) if I start watering more frequently?

Pictures say a thousand words. Do you have any pics? The only thing I would give them is a shot of Superthirve to get them outta shock. It has B1 in and other good stuff for transplanting/sprouts/clones etc. Was the water that you used room temperature? What kind of water did you use?
Also, when you transplanted did you make sure the new soil was wet and did you mess up the root ball? Are your plants 2-3 weeks old? Heres something next time always put your finger in the soil to see when you have to water. I bet when you watered, it was to cold for the plants ans shocked them. My opinion

Yeah man you are probably right. I know the water(tap water, no chlorine) PH was fine because Ive used it on marijuana plants before. However, Now that they are transplanted one has really come around and has even grown an additional two sets of leaves in one day! The other three might be a lost cause, but thats OK by me because I dont mind saving myself a headache and germinating some others that I have. I used cold mediocre tapwater, however it may have been too cold. I will be more carefull in the future with water AND soil (i dont care what anyone says, Miracle Grow is WAY too hot for seedlings).

MG soil= not recommended. If by 'hot' you mean too much fertlizer for the little guys, you're dead on.
Wait until they have 3 sets of true leaves to give 1/4 stength nutrient solution.
Let the soil JUST BARELY dry out between waterings, good luck with the next batch.

Right on the money stickyattic! For me I water every 2 days with about 10-14 oz of water.
