Can a female become a male?

I know this is really silly, but there is no dumb question. So lets just say that in my grow room I have 5 plants(hypothetically speaking)(lol) and they are in veg stage and there is a little light leak(maybe) and the PH is who knows, can a plant from a female genetic seed become a male or just a hermie? DOes anyone have or know threads with pics of hermies that way I know what to look for?

PH kits are really cheap, 15$ max, and they come with the testing liquid and the ph up/down...also light leaks are better to not have than to have a plant that takes forever to flower. You will only get out what you put in. It's all easy, you just gotta work to do it, they aren't gonna do it theirselves. Hermie is just male/female organs on one plant, it will pollinate and seed itself, not very good at all, you will lose alot of bud.

So a female cannot become a male but only a hermie right? Yeah I just ordered a PH kit for $15 and I also bought sum Superthrive. Hopefully it comes soon since I paid with credit card.
