I think the whole here and anywhere truly have the last say in anything... I need to point out something that is bothering me...

Why are Mods put into force as a permanent position from the start??? No one can predict what a person is going to be like with newly appointed power...

I propose there be a probation period...

I truly believe that some of the Mods here have a harsh and sometimes appalling sarcastic tone to the subscribers... Something should be done as the Mods first job is to set an example of what they expect from a whole...

the mods have to get ur attentin some way...

some people need to b pushed just a bit more than otheres...

and for our observant mods, this site is just gettin better...

Now lets move on........what's up Skink? Is it upsetting when the owner makes a decision then a month later you have to deal with people whining about the outcome? Or is it when you have to delete competitive sites off their signatures because they want to act like a child? OH CRAP....that's the mods job!!! Sorry bout that! :cool:

We deal with thousands of different personalities and do our best. This is volunteer work for us in here and very seldom do we get the nice words of puffpuffand away but instead we get thread starters asking for our qualifications by people. We, the mods, are just trying to help to keep this place decent for the folk that want to come in here and chill, learn, and have a good time.

So I'm sorry if we may come across a little harsh at times or maybe offend you in some way. I can't speak for the others but as for myself, I'll try my best to make you a happy lil' camper in the future!!:D

if i remember right, the mods aren't giving moderation-ship until they've proved themselves worthy of hte power by helping out, extensilvely, even when not asked to do so, and being able to control their emotions very well and not actually take sides and judge accordingly based on the situation it's self...that in and of it's self is a 'probation period' i feel. i've yet to see one mod abuse his power, hell in fact these mods seem to hand out warnings left and right to a person, but when that person keeps pushing, they get banned... and tha'ts understandable, why should the mods, admin, or even me and you be subjected to a temper tamptrum similar to a 5 year old wanting a toy?

keep up the good work guys :thumbsup: i support anything it takes to make this place more respectable... i still think there should be a flaming section just for that purpose, but of course i do understand why we don't have one, and i don't expect there to be one, that's just the type of thing we're trying to steer away from... maybe make a stick on all threads to take any and all flaming to baked.com instead? i dunno, i just know it will happen no matter what, but i think ti should be somehow seperated so those who don't want to see it, don't have to.

I like the new mods especially,yes I do & I enjoy this forum Much better since they have cleaned out alot of the thugs that were on here. Other forums don't allow their Mods to be questioned on their actions so I think here you should be happy you even get to ask them a question before you get banned. Psycho & Latewood make a good Mod team...reminds me of Starsky & Hutch:D

Ya i remember when there was soooooo many stupid ass people, and all they would do is just flame anyone in a thread...for no reason! I hated that bullshit...its like a waste of space....so keep banning the fuckers that deserve it! I remember there was one MOD that didnt abuse his power...but as soon as he became a mod...left and right threads were being deleted...moved...it was just to much(this was with less users as well, unlike now) So many people complained and even another MOD got into i think with him...hes not here anymore tho...does anyone remember who im talking about?

It was Beeblebrox420...he wasnt a bad guy but he all of a sudden became very rude when responding to post, so many complaints forced him too leave...he wanted to leave actually because he was so mad, never came back
