OK...SOME ADVISE THAT WILL SAVE EVERYONE A LOT OF TIME!!!!!!!.....TO YOU NEW PEOPLE AND GROWERS...THIS INCLUDES MYSELF...STOP ASKING QUESTIONS...READ THE BOARDS AND THREADS THAT THESE VERY EXPERIENCED PEOPLE HAVE WROTE AND RESEARCH WHAT THEY SAY...IF YOU HAVE SMART QUESTIONS THEN ASK...THEY WILL ANSWER THE FASTEST AND BEST THAT THEY CAN...ANOTHER BIT OF ADVISE...BE ELABORATE...DONT TYPE 2 WORDS AND EXPECT THESE PEOPLE TO KNOW WHAT YOUR ASKING..ASK MORE THAN ONE QUESTION IN A QUICK REPLY...
TAKE IT FROM ME...I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER OF THIS SITE FOR NO MORE THAN A WEEK AND A HALF...AND I HAVE SPENT PROBABLY 20 MINUTES ASKING QUESTIONS AND ABOUT 20-30 HOURS READING...I WANT MY PLANTS TO GROW JUST AS WELL AS THE NEXT MAN...BUT BEING AN ASS TO THESE PEOPLE ONLY MAKE MATTERS WORSE...THESE PEOPLE WILL HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE...LOOK AT ME...STARTED WITH 10 SEEDS AND A WEEK LATER...AFTER ALL MY NAILS ARE GONE FROM IMPATIENTS... I FINNALY GOT MY FIRST BABY...ONE OUT OF 10 SO FAR...AND EXPECTING AND HOPING FOR MORE....
THE MAIN POINTS ARE: RESEARCH...READ...READ...AND READ SOME MORE...
THEN ASK YOUR QUESTIONS...HELL...MY FIRST TIME ON HERE I DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT CFL'S WERE...NOW I HAVE ABOUT 4 OF THEM...HAHA...
Grow your plant like you were taking care of your child...better yet...take care of it as if it was the last piece of arse you would ever have if you killed it...sing to your plant...shit....i talk to mine...worse comes to worse...you'll get more seeds in another bag of smoke...

Glad you got ur grow going dude. I got a youngster goin also, very satisfying hobbie.
You are right... reading alone wll educate you. if you always ask questions that are obvious question that every1 else asks, you'll find that you recieve short annoyed answers.

All good advise for newbee's.
If you get a book.
It is alot easier to read then these forums.
If you can't get a book.
Just read like Sticky. Then ask the questions.
After you are sure that there is pretty much no more that you could learn from reading beginer info.
We don't mind answering curtain types of questions.
The questions that you would learn on the first page of reading is what is really annoying.
Because we get asked these questions every other day.
So something that is sooooo beginner that it's just a waste of time.
I like answering complicated or more advanced questions.It helps me refine
my skills.
I would pop some more seeds if I was you Sticky.

Good Point. READ READ READ Thats what it takes. Education is the key. I read about 20hrs a week on growing for about 8 weeks now and I have just scratched the surface of the tip of the iceburg. If you read enough you will run into conflicting ideas and procedures though. What is needed is a large volume of information so then you can sort it out and use what you need.
