Sorry sticky, ripe seeds are dark tan to brown, usually with stripes or some other dark mottling.
If the seeds you planted were greenish yellow, they were not ripe and will not germinate.
You're looking for nice fat brown seeds next time around.

yeah i agree stinky
but now that they are planted stick at it if they do germinate then its a bonus ,some will germinate and some wont but a seed that is dark brown will have more of a chance !!!!
cheers all :)

This answer applies to dirt not using SCROG.
For vegging you need less space obviously.
Personally I veg in 5x5 deep square nursery pots.
You can get 20 plants into a space 25x20 inches, plus you should always figure extra room around the sides to take care of them and give them air circulation.
I don't veg for long enough for the plants to get huge, but if you would like to give them more time, expect to give them more space.
To flower, I transplant into 12x12inch square 3 gallon pails. Using these, the plants themselves take up a space 4x5 feet for 20 of them.Again, There's a walkway all the way around for access.
Remember unless you are using clones and feminized seeds you can count on needing a bit less space than that as you will find males.

Remember they will double in size at least when you induce flowering.
So keep em small in veg.
They will get bigg after you switch to 12/12.
You'll find that the more answers you get,the more questions you will have.
Ask away.
This is how I learned also.
Here at CDotcom.
I'm glad to hear you sprouted more seeds.
