revedging

i have a couple of moms im regrowing for clonning.
in a 12in pot how often should she be trans planted to fresh soils?
or can soil be regenerated by adding what it needs?
any opinions appreciated.
also if any seed banks i am looking for jack herr.

I have seen it done both ways.. transplant and NO transplant.. for vigorous growth, always transplant..
