How long do you smoke the cherry

After being to enough parties and kickbacks, I noticed people I was smoking with always smoked their own bowls up to a certain point. For example, Josh would smoke and light the bowl till it was nothing but ash. But Joe would only re-light the bowl after there was no more fresh green to be lit, because he only liked to smoke it if the bud tasted fresh, and didn't like the taste of bud when it started getting too charred.


How far do you smoke it? I think of myself as an (A), personally.

A) I burn it all! It's WeeeeeeeD! And the Weed must burn!

B) I light it 'till the structure and flavor are at least 3/4 gone; I don't like the taste when it starts tasting like death and lighter butane.
