If you don't find a chart.June 21 is the longest day of the year in the USA.Almost 17 hours of light that day as it will decrease by a few seconds or so per day,from there on out till harvest.

Winter Soltice is shortest day of year, and its on December 22nd. There is around 9 hours of daylight on that day, then they get progressively longer until June 21, then back the other way.

daylight varies according to the latitude you're in so you can't compare with others living north or south of your line. if your local newspaper doesn't have sunrise/sunset times like most do, google for 'sunrise' then plug in your area.
