Vortex fan question
Does anybody have experience with the 6" vortex exhaust fan. I am trying to decide whether or not i should get this fan for my grow cabinet. I've heard that this fan is very quiet and reliable, but would this fan move too much air for my room size? My grow room dimensions are 2.5 feet deep, 4 feet wide, and 6.5 feet tall. The fan runs at a rate of 449 CFM. Any comments on this fan are welcome.

Vortex fan question
I RUN A 4" AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. MY FLOWER ROOM IS 5' x 4' x 6'.
I JUST BOUGHT A 12' VORTEX,,, OMG!!!! IF IT HAD WINGS, IT WOULD FRIGGING TAKE OFF. I HAD TO INSTALL A REO-STAT SO I COULD CONTROL THE AIR MOVEMENT. MUCH BETTER NOW.
BUT TO ANSWER THE QUESTION, THE 6" SHOULD BE FINE. INSTALL A REO-STAT IN NEED BE, TO SLOW IT DOWN.
GOOD LUCK

It's the shit. If you can afford one...what do you have bringing air in?
you can't really move too much air.. moving air too often can be a concern if using co2.

If you get a powerful fan. Just make sure you get a fan speed contoler. Because that is way too much power for a little space. You'll be sucking the leaves into the fan. jk lol
