WARNING: Ultimate deep theory ahead, being stoned recommended!

I'm in a crazy thinking mood so here goes.

There's a drum 'n' bass track that I love called 'We want your soul' (the remix by Ed Rush and Optical).
What I love about this track is that it has a message, and that's pretty irregular in DnB. The main vocal line is a creepy, almost robotic womans voice talking about 'your lives, your homes, your cars, your cash' etc, listing items to the point where it sounds like a cheesy, subliminal TV ad, accompanied by a sample of what sounds like evil schoolgirls shouting 'we want your soul'.

I was talking to my mate about it whilst smoking one time and I explained my theory. The tune was made by an American producer but I feel it reflects on most countries with an economy. It's saying how our lives revolve entirely around commercialism, it's everywhere we look and we accept it. We always want the latest cars, clothes, technology, etc because it's constantly in front of us, infecting our brains and making us the way we are.

There's a vocal sample during the break in the track that goes "Go back to bed America, your government has you covered, here, watch this and shutup. Your free to do as we tell you!". It's like it's saying the government uses commercialism to distract us from the real truth, we're just drones.
Think about it, why do we abide by the laws and rules of society? They've been planned and layed down by people who are considered to be more important then the rest of us. We call it society but it's just restriction. Laws are there to control us, commercialism is there to make sure we don't complain! I'm doing my very best not to sound like a paranoid hippy but what kind of deep things could our governments be planning? They control our lives in the way they manipulate what we see on TV and billboards, etc and what we hear on the radio. There are communities on Earth that have no government and no commercialism and are said to live in peace, they don't wake up in the morning and think about what to wear, the thought doesn't even pass them by. We talk about how it's wrong that there are cults and movements in existance that give extreme punishment to people who follow the "wrong" religion or whatever. We call it tyranny but who's to say we don't have our own tyranny right here? Obviously not in the same sense, but a whole, organised web of subliminal messages, rules and restrictions that we consider to be fair but in reality only lead to one theory; We're only free to do as we're told.

To maybe explain my point better, consider how there are arguments on this site concerning the laws behind gun control and cannabis. People are pissed that they get arrested for smoking draw like it's a bad thing and they get pissed at the thought of being denied the right to own firearms. The main argument is that human beings should be allowed to do as they please but what if I don't want to be part of a world that revolves around status, money and what's considered acceptable and unacceptable? I'm not allowed, I don't have a say.
This is a really crazy theory and I don't expect most people to understand it. Basically, i'm not happy with the kind of country I live in and although I could be much worse off, I like to believe there's a much better definition of 'society' out there waiting to be discovered, even if it means waiting for the Earth to be destroyed and start anew.

Now does ANYONE know what the FUCK I just said :D ? My mate got me on this but i'm basically contradicting our accepted way of life so it's a toughy.

Seriously though, if you really want to be free you need money. Lots of it. Sad huh? When you look at the rich motherfu***rs, you see them living the way everyone should live. Money makes the world go round buddy. As far as gun control goes, people here in the states are covered! My brother-in-law purchased a 50 cal rifle last year in California and it was totally uncontested. State and federal law mean jack $hit next to the constitution. A few months before that he bought a freakin Tek 9. No one came to arrest him.

But anyhow... a utopian society where we are all free to express any form of individuality would be great wouldent it. Cant happen though, humans will always seek to control one another.

Apart from going to live in a politically unstable shit hole your better off getting over it mate. it aint gonna change.
if your that concerned do what i try to do. (i say try, its hard and a daily compromise)
vote with your wallet. dont buy crap. dont work so hard to afford things you dont need.
remove your consent by removing your participation.
and if you like expensive toys and other garbage (that makes you happy) then be content you werent born in Sudan.

Lol, well i'm not that bothered about the idea so much i'll run away to an abandoned island and start my own community. :D I just thought i'd share it 'cause I always love reading crazy stoned theories.

reading the Celestine Prophecy was enlightening.. maybe one day, after the world nearly destroys itself, our current system of 'society' will change.. but til then i guess all we can do is bitch about it to people who are too blind to see it, or sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up.. its sad but true

We DO only have as much freedom as we are allowed.
Commercialism and the Media IS controlling our thoughts.
And you are trapped, because to do anything else (ie, move on to a dessert island) is inheretently abhorrent.

Take the current Bush administration's drive to get GWB re-elected. Most of America is being brain-washed with a biased Media coverage.

The Iraq war was built up from mass public hysteria from a threat that didn't exist - thus gaining support from the masses.

I have realised this situation for the past 10years, and have spoken about it to friends and other web communities before. It exasperates me at the aparent 'blindness' of the general public - are they really that thick?

I have almost quit watching the news, because all I see is propaganda towards the satisfaction of a few 'prophesies' that were written down thousands of years ago.

I would be willing to bet that most of the 'high profile' terrorist attacks (ie, 911, Russian school, hostage beheadings) are internally engineered 'stunts' to sway public opinion towards an end-game.

There can never be a cash-less society, unless we can all agree to forsake all possession - it is human nature to compete, and that goes for accumulation of wealth also. And we are all guilty of it.

It all sounds so depressive and final - this is your life, deal with it - but if you know how to play the game, then life becomes easier.

For example, for reasons that would be too deep and personal at this time, I have chosen to divorce myself from society, and become a hermit. I still have to go to work, cos I can't live without cash, but I become a zombie - get stoned, do the job, get paid, go home - zero emotional content.
That way, they get what they want - a worker and contributor to society, and I get what I want - the means to make my life as contentable as possible.
It's not always easy, because I find it very difficult not to care, but I find that if I get involved, I just end up getting frustrated at peoples short-sightedness :mad: .

We must all look at the bigger picture.
It's a bit like standing very close to a painting - all you see is little brushmarks - stand further back, and an image will reveal itself.
