Cannabis as Law enforcement?

The hemp plant has had a curious relationship with the world's legal codes throughout the ages. As noted before, it has variously been illegal to grow hemp and not to grow it at different times. But hemp has also played a direct role in law enforcement.

For example: The most serious punishment/rehabilitation meted out in many African tribes for capital crimes was forcing the transgressor to smoke massive amounts of dagga (cannabis) non-stop for hours on end in a small, enclosed hut until he passes out literally unconscious from inhaling the fumes. The equivalent of a year or two's supply for a heavy American smoker is consumed in just an hour or so. Does it work? African users say the rate of repeat criminal offenses after dagga treatment is virtually non-existent.

im going to one of those tribes and making sure i break a rule that thats the punishment for

i have a feeling that smoking that much pot would severly fuck you up. to the point where you wouldnt wana do it again. I can remember being high to the point that i didnt wana be that high again. (that happend only once). So think about this punishment. a YEARS WORTH OF WEED in one hour. For me thats about 6 oz in one hour. thats over 12 grams of thc....thats not gonna be fun, i dont care how much pot you think you smoke.

Thats a good way of punishment, to bad they dont adopt that for america.
But stangle's right that would be alot of weed in one hour

And plus, I bet its not even the good stuff. I bet you they just give them shitty ass shwag so as to give them a huge headache before they pass out with hardly little buzz.

your all saying you would like to do that? wow i dont like being in a car with windows rolled up smoking like a gram joint for very long or the smoke iritates your eyes and shit. and they smoke like a couple pounds
