Well, after my crazy ass weekend, I decided that I didn't really need to trip again for a while. Hmm...
I went to get some bud last night from a friend, and he had a bit of cid left and offered me a hit. I thought, cool...I'll just trip out a tiny bit, it's only one hit. I'll go home and draw or play my bass or something. Well, I dropped it and came home....my world collasped around me. I felt like I was all alone. I called a couple of friends, and they didn't answer. That obviously meant they were ignoring me. I pretty much spiralled down from there. I lost touch with things that I would never usually lose grip on with only 1 hit. I couldn't play my instrument, I couldn't type, I couldn't even draw. I just sat in my bed thinking the worst thoughts humanly possible. I desperately needed someone to talk to, but there was no one there. It was terrible. This morning, I feel humbled. This is my first truely BAD trip. I underestimated a psychadellic, and this is my punishment. I've talked to a couple of friends...and feel a lot better than I did this morning....but I still feel off. I let it take over me, something that I'm usually so good at preventing.
Oh well, I guess sometimes we need to experience these kinds of things to open up our eyes a little bit. I still feel so alone, though.
Lesson: Don't underestimate a psychadellic. If you're worried at all about the trip, don't take it. Put yourself in a positive atmosphere with friends that you can trust and talk to if you have something on your mind. I have always known these rules, but I thought I had more control than I really did. Oh well, live and learn, imo.
