i was just wondering what i should look for to know when to switch to a flower light cycle?
I am limited on space so the earliest i can switch i will so not to get them too big.
Also, does the sex show before or after you switch to 12/12?

I've heard of people vegging for as little as a month. As far as sexing the plant goes... It's kind of rare for a plant to show sex in one month, but it did happen to one plant at the beggining of my 3rd. grow.

Well if your in limited space, you can do it when you want, but normally the sign a plant is read is when the internoes alternate.
But this doesnt have to hapen. Like, if you got a 6 foot space, minus the hight away the plants have to be for a bulb, make sure theres enough room for it to double in size, and you should be ojk as long as its not a pure sativa.
u can flower after 3 weeks if u like . most dutch seeds are made so u can flower within a month of vegging , i myself do all the time. i don't have 3 or 4 big plants i have 22 small ones instead . clones can be put into 12/12 after 1 weeks vegging and after they have rooted
I FLOWER MY CLONES 30 -40 DAYS AFTER THEY ROOT. THEY ARE NORMALLY ABOUT 18" TALL BY THEN. WORKS OUT WELL IN MY SMALL FLOWER ROOM.

does the plant show sex after you start flowering? is it bad to flower early?
MY BABIES ALL HAVE MOTHERS. I KNOW WHAT THE SEX IS BEFORE I CUT THE BRANCH FOR CLONING.
BUT YES,, THEY WILL SHOW (HOPEFULY) WHITE HAIRS 1 - 2 WEEKS INTO 12/12.
