Artists and writers wanted!!

hey guys and gals, i'm lookin for some artists (preferably great ones :p) and some writers to do a (drumroll)......


Cannabis.com Comic Book/Graphic Novel :)

i'm not lookin for cheesey crap, this comic will be dark, with deaths and loss , blood, guts and gore etc.

more an adult kinda comic :)

i'm not expecting full time comitment to this, it will be sort of a side project that will take a while to get up and running, of course i have ideas of my own, but would consider all ppl's opinions and thoughts about everything.

if your interested let me know :D

make each issue about someone's stoner story.
Like that pizza call that Penguin made. Make an issue just on that.
If you want dark, then definetly go to the legal section and check out people's stories about getting busted or robbed or whatever.
Could easily become a legit comic if you did that because you are portraying real life situations.

I thought it was a dumb idea but then I realized how realistic our stories are and they could be made into a decent comic if done right.

i like the idea of makin it about stories/ppl from here, but i wanted to do a story about one person, a hero/vigilante type person (obviously this person smokes lol), but something with an adult rating lol (and no that doesnt mean it will contain lots of sex... maybe some :p but not lots lol), what i had in mind was something like a cross between Spiderman/Punisher/Deadpool type character.

I wana be in it every comic needs a fat kid

Then you make that one person go through EVERY story we've read on the forums here.
For all I care make it about this dude who goes through so much shit (taken from stories found on this forum) that he finally transforms to:
WEEEEEEED MAAAN!

(He even yells out his name like birdman)

You could still fit in everyones stories by letting random characters (possibly members from around here) go through a situation that was taken from the forums here.. and then you have the person bump into the main character and the main character gets involved.

I have an idea on my own too. It's way too bitchy to color the comics, but what you could do is create a rule where you ONLY color the parts when the hero gets high. Every time he is sober it will be b/w.

Since weed makes everything colorful, I think you should make 'color' become an important element in the novel..

sounds cool, i like that idea... after all, a hero has to have a hardlife and go through alot of shit, thats what makes him a hero.. and the colour idea rocks too :)

i dunno about calling him Weed Man tho lol, i want a comic that could rival most made today, it has to be a serious story with serious characters and situations, u know like life threatening stuff :)
