Strange situation...or maybe not so strange
As the title implied I appear to be in a strange situation, or perhaps it's not so strange but I can't seem to find much information about a couple, quick specific questions I have on the threads. Perhaps I am little bit lazy, but I have been looking for a day or two now and figured I should just ask those who may know. Thanks for the help!:smokin:
questions
1) I have been growing some plants outside for about three weeks and they seem to be doing just fine. But I just finished my growbox and I'm ready to transplant them into bigger pots and shove them in the box for a spin. Will shifting them to 18/6 or 24/0 shock the plants too much from the light cycle the weather naturally has where I am?
2) If the answer to question #1 is yes, then am I better off just starting new seeds in my growbox from the beginning? My box is 115 cm long, 150 cm tall, and 75 cm deep, and I have mounted one 90 cm fl tube, 30 w, 4100K vertically from one side of the box, and have also mounted 6 other Fl lights (30 w, 4100k) to a board which can be lowered/uppered as needed. I figured for flowering I would change a couple of the 4100K to two or three 2900K, 30 W bulbs I picked up. Is this too much?
Also, real quick note the plants that have been sitting outside seem to be healthy but not too hearty if you know what I mean. Growing tall reaching for that golden, shiny object in the sky, but others have remained smaller and more bushier.
I sincerely appreciate any good suggestions or advice! Sorry to start a thread like this when I could probably search and search and search and find the answer, but time is a bit of an issue here now seeing as I am too anxious to test out the box.
I guess I'll have a smoke and curb some of the anxiety.
Best,
