Lowryder male turnout rate

Ok, so I've gotten ahold of a total of 20 lowryder seeds and I've tried to get them all going. I had a bunch of intial problems that I never had with other strains (I've talked about these issues in other threads). I managed to be successful with just 8 out of 20 seeds, quite dissappointing. So far I've killed off 5 male plants leaving me with only 3 more.

What has other peoples' luck been? I'm thinking that in the future I will just stick with cabinet growing of clones of regular strains, gives me more options anyway.
