I see alot of people using cfl's, and I want to add a couple to me grow room, but I tried looking at WalMart, didnt see them. Where can I buy some and will they work in regular light bases?

Weed4Life,
Try Home Depot or Lowes they should have a variety of bulbs and fixatures.
Loco
this where I buy mine, also the odor-killing light bulbs on another page ... :smokin: http://www.1000bulbs.com/category.php?category=2086
Also dont look for CFL. They are compact flouresent light. Not sure if you knew that or not. B/c when i first heard of em i went to walmart looking for CFL's thinking that was what they were called. LOL
Yeah I knew what they were called by reading alot of posts. Thanks all for your comments. To bad there is no Home Depot or Lowes where I live. I can chack this one place out. I just wanted sum extra light because i am about to start flowering in less than A week and right now I am using 1 150 hps light for 2 plants. I wanted the sides to get plenty of light also.
I have seen CFL's just about everywhere that sells lightbulbs....walmart,target,sams,grocery stores, you name em they have CFL's.
almost every hardware stall sells them
cheers all :)
How many should I use for 2-4 plants? I have 2 in 1 grow room, and 4 plants will be in another room. I was thinking maybe 3 40 watt ones in addition to my 150 watt hps to get all around the two plants, and in my other room I have a 75 watt grow light plus I was thinking maybe 3 40 watt cfl's for veg stage. would that be enough you think?
Garden Knowm would be able to answer this question, as he has a thread with some nice ladies grown with CFL's. I think that name of it is "what does a 2 week old plant look like". Try and find that thread as some good info is in there.....but there are plenty of other people on the forum that have knowledge of CFLs so im sure someone can give you some good pointers, and answer yo questions...peace out
there at wal-mart....actually walmart has a good selection...light by the normal light bulbs
