few questions... first time

couldnt find much info on germination... how long should i let the tap root get before i plant it? should i plant the whole thing under the soil?
Also, how long can a growing plant go without light?
And, Is it possible to grow a single plant on a single 800 lumen fluorescent bulb or should i get a few more?

I dont belive that. There is germination threads and faqs all over these boards...

Let it get to about 1/2 inch and plant it 1/2 inch under the soil, and yes, you put the whole thing, tap-root first under.

A plant will not go long without light. Why ask this question? If your not going to give it light, dont grow it.

And no, you'll need more high wattage CFL's

I remember hearing that you should atleast have a minimum of 6000-9000 lumens being given to your plant, unless you want it to be complete garbage. You should definitely go over to home depot and pick up some more lights. They have a nice 4ft fluorescent light fixture for about , $6.00 plus the lights which are another 3-4 dollars. for about 20 bucks or less, you can be "alright"
