Shrooms..

Well , here i am , making another generic annoying post about magic mushrooms.
I was wondering, i'm going to be trying them for the first time this saterday and is there any way you can tell a bad batch out? I mean is there any chance that you actually could get bad shrooms?

I'm a little skeptical still..heh.

Assuming they are psilocybe's just make sure they arn't moldy or anything. If there is any black fuzziness on them for instance then they are molded and should not be eaten. Some white fuzziness is alright but anything else could mean mold.

look for a bluish tinge where they may have been bruised while picking. And look for gold flakes on the cap and stems... Both of those are good indicators of a good batch of shrooms in my experience.

Yeah they had a tint of blue near the ends..
