Simple idea - please feedback

Hey, I was thinking about this simple idea, cos i dont have much time to tend for my beauties over school etc..

So i drew this up in paint to explain to what im thinking. (Attachment)
My planned cycle was going to be:
- Digital timer to turn light on from 8am to 8pm everyday.
- Pump to pump recycled water around and into the pot every few hours or every 12 hour cycle.. Please help me with the water situation.

Its just a simple Idea, leave feedback to show how i can improve it. :stoned:

great art work aus i'm not sure about the water thing but the light timer should be set 18 hrs light on 6 hrs light off atleast for veg and i would add a fan to circulate stail air and stronger stems

Aus - is this your first grow?

In my opinion - I think you'd be better off just taking 10 minutes every 2-4 days and just water your plant.

You being in the growroom/grow area alone, will also give them a little rush of fresh c02.

If you're looking for a hydro setup (which it looks from your picture), I would check out some of the grows/setups in the hydro forum to make your questions a bit more specific :D

Yes it is my first grow

is it just me or isn't that the way a hydro system works anyway. instead of using soil u could use perlite and allow ur watering to come every few minutes. the one down point about ur idea is what happens if a pump breaks down or a time stops working , if u don't see them for days/ weeks at a time u could be in alot of trouble , i would suggest u would leave it till u do have loads of time ,so u can take the time to work with ur plant . also as ur plants grow the amount of watering the need wil increase also the plants will grow and how will u allow for this ?. i am not trying to put u off hear but i think these are a few thinks u should think about before u start.

you are going to loose water with this setup cause the plants use it.. plus evaporation... so yah... just take 2 mins outta your day and water your beauty.
