hi ppl
ive got six plants that i think will be ready to harvest in the next few days, but the problem ive got is i dont have a microscope to tell exactly wen they are ready. does anyone have any other ways for me to tell wen i should harvest, and ive only week flushing for about a week now im using hydro so ive just been giving them ph'd water that ive changed every day. will this be long enough
any advice would be really handy

Without a scope how do you think you are only a few days away from harvest?

Anyhow, go by the red hairs then.
If they are mostly red, or brown, then use that method.
i was just going to go by the colour of the hairs anyway, i just wanted to see if other any body had any other ways of telling with out a microscope.

When 80% of the hairs turn brown it should be close to ripe. Just like a fruit begins to get soft and begins to degrade to signal it's ripeness. It will smell its sweetest.
Yeah, but remember, the hairs dont mean anything in true correspondance to the THC levels, it'll just tell you when the plant thinks its mature.
The only way to do it properly is go on colour of trichomes... you can use the pistilles but i think its too much of a chance when you could have waited a few more days and had way more potent weed..
A looop aint alot, you really should get one
I really agree with LIP on this one. The difference between a 10 dollar invaluable grower's tool that can be reused and reused each time, and a 20-50% loss in potency in something you invest hundreds of dollars in just isn't worth it.
