And it is really a popular jean there?
I have three pair,2 black and 1 blue... I bought them in a store called Sears in the late 80's,,, $19.95 per is what I recall paying for a pair... I still have these pants and they are in great shape because I rarely wear them due to the fact that it's a pain to unbutton them to take a wiz...
Levi's seem to have lost their allure here, but probably hold a special place in the hearts of people in the southern states...
BTW I have a couple pair of 506 levis that I wear religiously, wholely and comfy from the same era,,,late 80's...
I buy the vintage Levis off ebay..I have paid 50-75 for one pair of vintage levis in good condition so yes..they are popular here..not sure about others but my area..yes they are popular but not new ones..just the vintage.
Not sure I know what you mean by "Vintage"???
If I put my 501's on ebay I could get up to 75$ or is Vintage a type like 501 and 506's...
I recall the Vintage label in my walmart for 30 or so a pair, they remained on the shelf till clearance... If this is what you mean then I could look into buying and selling on Ebay...
pretty much 24.99 on sale, usa dollar, for a pair of unwashed 501s
go to the Levi web site and look at all the diff cuts...501, 560 ,570 ect
A couple of ways to identify Vintage is that all the letters on the red tab are Capital letters..yes Levis 501 are good and Levis Orange tag 517's. If you sell on ebay it will give you guidelines on identifying vintage, antique etc..There are other ways to identify vintage jeans if your interested.Quote:
