A good reason not to grow on private property that you don't own...

So I was talking with a guy at my workplace (who enjoys the ganga from time to time) about outdoor grows. He grew up on a farm where they grew alot of corn. Well, one day when he was growing up, his father was out working on the fields and he noticed that the corn was hacked out every so often and there were irrigation tubes running to each spot from several hundred yards away. A close inspection revealed small weed plants.

Well, although he knew growers and people who used it and it didn't bother him, he didn't want it growing on his land, especially by someone he didn't know. So he called the police who came out and removed all of the plants and irrigation lines.

So, the moral of the story is don't grow on private property unless it belongs to you or you have their permission! :)

even though I'm a grower myself, if I found someone else's plants on my property, I would chop it down, or take it ... whatever ... not a 'thieving' thing at all, the real issue, is I dont want my property seized by the government because I allowed it to be grown on my property ... if I grow my own there, I am doing it at my own risk, and as the owner, I have that choice to make ... plenty of public property, forests, parks, BLM land, national forests, rural county property, railroad property, whatever, to be used ... :smokin:
